Security Engineer

Requirements

• HBO+ or WO degree in a relevant field (e.g., Informatics, Cyber Security)
• Several years of experience (circa 3+ years) as a security engineer or in a comparable function within information security
• Thorough knowledge of networks, operating systems, and security infrastructures
• Experience with various security tools and techniques (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls)
• Certified in the field of security (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM) or willing to obtain these certificates
• Familiar with the ISO 27001 standard
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive attitude and an eye for detail
• Good communication skills and a true team player
• Good command of the Dutch language and ideally also of English
