We are seeking a Backend Developer to join our Product Development Team in Dublin. The role involves developing AWS serverless applications, leading technical design discussions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in design and cloud development, with hands-on experience developing serverless apps and proficient in Python.
Requirements
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 3+ years of experience; or bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in design and cloud development
Hands on experience developing serverless apps for at least 1 year, preferably including use of Lambda, DynamoDb, SNS, SQS and AppSync
Proficient in Python
Experience designing and architecting Cloud applications and understand various design patterns
Experience with use of CICD and automated testing frameworks
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience operating large cloud systems at scale
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think critically and creatively to find solutions to complex issues
Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and new challenges in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
