The International Organization for Migration assists in managing operational challenges of migration, advancing understanding, encouraging development through migration, and upholding migrant rights and well-being.
The National Migration Health Officer will provide health assistance and carry out activities under the Refugee Care Activity, including case management, in line with the Programme requirements and IOM policies. The officer will maintain and strengthen a referral system, manage primary care clinical consultations, and establish mechanisms for urgent health assistance. The officer will also provide support, supervision, and guidance to healthcare unit staff and undertake monitoring of healthcare provisions provided to beneficiaries.
Requirements
Master's degree in Medicine or Public Health
5 years of relevant professional experience
Experience in health services, preferably in primary health care and public health
Experience working with refugees or migrants
