GOAL is an international humanitarian and development agency seeking a Social Specialist to facilitate community involvement and promote social inclusion in rural areas of Honduras. The position involves building community consultation spaces, promoting participatory planning, and designing strategies for social inclusion. The ideal candidate has a background in social sciences, experience working with indigenous and Afrodescendant communities, and a proven track record in promoting inclusion processes and organizational strengthening.
Requirements
Professional studies in social field, sociology, anthropology, history, or other disciplines
At least 6 years of experience in local development processes (rural emphasis), participatory planning, etc.
Proven experience in promoting inclusion processes of specific groups such as young people, women, indigenous peoples, and Afrodescendants, people with disabilities, elderly people
