Postdoctoral researcher appointment available in the Carpenter Nanoparticle Spectroscopy Group. The postdoctoral researcher will perform independent experiments in single-molecule and single-particle optical spectroscopy. Responsibilities include establishing single-particle microscopy and spectroscopy infrastructure, assisting with funding proposals, and mentoring students.
Requirements
PhD in chemistry, physics, biomedical engineering, or other related discipline
Past graduate or postdoctoral experience with single-particle spectroscopy or imaging on biological systems
Programming experience in e.g. MATLAB/Python/LabVIEW for data analysis and software experimental control
