As a Legal Counsel II at Teleport, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing practical legal advice, and managing external counsels. You will also identify best practices and monitor updates on laws and regulations. The role requires a strong corporate and commercial legal background, with fluency in English and computer proficiency. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of general commercial experience and be qualified to practice as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
Requirements
Strong corporate and commercial legal background
Fluency in reading, writing, drafting documents and communication skills in English
High computer proficiency: Google Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and calendar software, and contract management database experience
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and initiate things with minimum supervision
Ability to build trust and respect with other team members across multiple geographies
