Requirements

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan targeting high-potential high growth startup + enterprise technology accounts within content marketing, SEO, and PR.
• Lead, mentor, and expand the business development team.
• Contribute to intro and proposal calls/buildouts and with potential clients.
• Manage the marketing strategy, aligning to the sales function.
• Set clear performance metrics, sales objectives, and pipeline targets.
• Manage relationships with high value referral partners.
• Develop an outbound sales strategy based on previous successes.
• Continuously refine the consultative sales approach.
• Work with client services to grow existing client accounts.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, client strategy, and executive leadership.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
• Provide regular reporting and analysis of business development performance, pipeline status, and market trends to executive leadership.
