Reporting to the Manager of Primary Health Care NW-N, this position offers a variety of experiences throughout SHA, providing nutrition expertise to patients in various facilities and community settings to achieve nutrition and health outcomes. The dietitian is responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy and services in acute care, long term care, and as a consultant in food services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (asset)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians
  • Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)
  • Demonstrated understanding of the prevention and management of chronic diseases
  • Ability to function independently and as a member of an interprofessional team in a culturally sensitive manner
