Reporting to the Manager of Primary Health Care NW-N, this position offers a variety of experiences throughout SHA (Former Keewatin Yatthe RHA) including providing nutrition expertise to patients (clients, residents) throughout various SHA facilities and community settings to achieve nutrition and health outcomes. The dietitian is responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy through primarily individual outpatient counselling with a focus on chronic disease prevention and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Certified Diabetes Educator, is an asset
  • Demonstrated understanding of the prevention and management of chronic diseases
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians
