HARMAN is a technology leader that is rapidly on the move, and they are looking for an Associate Security Test Engineer to join their team. The role involves assisting in security testing of systems and applications, learning and using security testing tools, and testing security controls. The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of software development and testing processes, and will be able to create, execute, and document test cases based on requirements or user stories.
Requirements
A basic understanding of software development and testing processes
Understanding of cybersecurity domains (internet protocols and services, web technologies)
Ability to create, execute, and document test cases based on requirements or user stories
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) for reporting and managing bugs
Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC)
Basic understanding of APIs and how to test them using tools like Postman (optional but beneficial)
Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and basic troubleshooting skills
ASPICE knowledge
10+ year of experience in testing embedded systems
Familiarity and ability to operate GSM simulators tools such as Keysight, Anritsu, and Wi-Fi, BT/BLE analyzers and testing suites
Experience with static and dynamic code analysis
Working knowledge of Android and Linux
Automotive industry experience
Experience in Agile/SCRUM
HW experience with configuration different setups
Knowledge in ALM is beneficial
Expertise in working with distributed development teams
