As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in building and evolving the core backend systems that power PerfectScale’s data platform and business logic. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams to design scalable systems and contribute to impactful product decisions.
Requirements
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
6+ years of backend development experience (Go / Java / Rust / Python)
3+ years of hands-on experience with Golang in a production environment
Experience building and scaling distributed systems and data pipelines
Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases; PostgreSQL experience is a plus
Proven experience developing SaaS products in microservice architectures
Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tooling: CI/CD, GitOps, K8s, Docker
Strong system design skills and a passion for building resilient, high-scale services
